A Cornish Summer (Part 2) – Porthcurno

What: Cornwall Part 1
When: July 2016
Distance from home: 305 miles
Length of adventure: 7 nights

Details: One of the places we went to both times we went to Cornwall this Summer was Porthcurno. It is a beautiful beach and home to the Telegraph museum, which explains the history of telecommunications and Porthcurno’s roll in that. As the website says in 1870 Porthcurno was the most connected valley on the planet. The Minack theatre is also there.

What did we do?

  • We walked over the cliff top to take in the views and have a picnic.
  • We paddled in the sea
  • We went to the Telegraph Museumimg_2623img_2628img_2756img_2770img_2776
